Al Roker is no stranger when it comes to hearing some ... interesting conversations on the Today show. But one segment left him completely in shock, and his reaction had fans in stitches over it.

During a July 18 segment on the morning news show, Al sat with Dylan Dreyer and Sheinelle Jones as they were quizzed on how many times dermatologists recommend a person to shower per week. While Dylan and Sheinelle guessed five times and every day, respectively, Al had a visceral opinion when contributing guest Adrianna Brach asked him his thoughts on hygiene.

"I don't care what they say, I'm gonna say A," he said, referencing his thoughts that folks should shower every day.

What's more, when he discovered that dermatologists, in fact, recommend someone shower two to three times a week, Al was flabbergasted by the statistic. As Adrianna explained that the number had to do with a person's lifestyle preferences, Al couldn't hold back his feelings on the subject as a whole.

"Lifestyle?" he exclaimed on the air. "Not if you come in contact with other people!"

This prompted Dylan to ask Al how many times he bathes on a typical week and he surprised her with an even more staggering confession.

"I shower twice a day," he told her while still in disbelief.

When Today show fans saw Al's uproar over the surprise data about washing habits, they couldn't help but laugh at his over-the-top reaction online.

"I am on Team Al," one person wrote on TikTok. "Team Al twice daily [always]," another agreed. "Everyday. Al is correct. My natural microbiome also agrees," someone else added.

As viewers may know, this isn't the first time a topic has elicited a strong response from the NBC co-host. Back in February, he had to take off his glasses while processing a conversation about pajamas with Dylan, Sheinelle and Craig Melvin. Then later in April, Al appeared astounded upon hearing Savannah Guthrie, Jenna Bush Hager and Hoda Kotb's organization techniques, causing him to put his hands over his face.

Well, folks can always count on Al to keep things real.
