Ingredients
- 1 oz.
bergamot liqueur or dry curaçao
- 1 oz.
Blood Orange–Thyme Syrup (see recipe)
- 1/4 oz.
fresh lemon juice
- 2 oz.
sparkling wine, chilled
- 1
thyme sprig, for garnish
Blood Orange-Thyme Syrup
- 1 c.
blood orange juice, strained
- 1 c.
natural cane sugar
- 10
thyme sprigs
Directions
- Step 1In cocktail shaker filled with ice, shake bergamot liqueur, syrup, and lemon juice until cold.
- Step 2Double strain into chilled coupe and top with sparkling wine. Garnish with thyme sprig.
Blood Orange-Thyme Syrup
- Step 1In saucepan, combine orange juice and sugar and bring to a boil to dissolve sugar.
- Step 2Remove from heat and let steep, covered, 20 minutes. Strain and refrigerate for up to 1 month.
